Floating Golf Green construction project – Friday October 3rd at Port Annapolis Marina – 8:00!!

Greetings! This Friday’s activities will be UN-GOLF related!!

Sort of.

I now have all the parts for the Mach 2 Floating Golf Green!…    what you may ask, is a Mach 2 floating thingy?

Well, simply put (yeah, right, don’t you get me started, Doug!) we are going to construct the newest version of the famous floating golf green. Some of you (Jane, Steve, Chanell and others) have helped me in the past with this. But it is really really large and heavy and requires a lot of time and definitely more than a single pair of hands to put it together.

So… I got to thinking, and while Brendan and I were talking we came up with the idea of using inflatable floating trampolines (you see them on lakes, go ahead and google it and you will see what I am talking about). That is pretty much it!

Not counting about a hundred other details – SO..

on Friday we will have a “put the thing all together” party! If you are interested I would LOVE to have some company. This will be the second one I have put together so I am not completely making this all up as I go along. If it works we will use them both at the Classic next Tueday! Come on out to Port Annapolis at 8 in the morning – I will have hot chocolate and donuts and if we have enough people we can launch it in the creek and give it a real test drive!

Please let me know if you are interested, so I can give you directions! Here is a picture of the original, just in the water across from the Fleet Reserve building in Ego Alley.

Don't forget the remote control boats to pick up the golf balls!

The Mach 2 will look nothing like this. Not at all! I think it may look even better - BUT I need some help putting it together!

 TWO MORE IMPORTANT NOTES!!

DISNEY CRUISE RAFFLE TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!! I still have a TON of these – the drawing is next Tuesday at the Classic and your odds are REALLY good now on this as we have not even sold half of them! PLEASE let me know if want a ticket! or, even tickets! And I probably will buy everyone who shows up at Port Annapolis a ticket.

VOLUNTEERS FOR THE CLASSIC! Several of you have already volunteered for the Classic at Queenstown next week – I am so grateful to you – THANK YOU! We still need about four more people so if any of you out there are still thinking about it, or know someone who might be interested – please let me know. THANKS again to those of you already on the list (Janie, Chris, others..). You are always there and I truly appreciate it.
