We will be meeting at Potomac Ridge this week – so bring $15 and show up at 7:15! and next week on Tuesday is the Classic! Yow! I will be selling raffle tickets for the 52″ TV!! let me know if you NEED some tickets! Yeah!
…. AND we have GERRY Swarbrick and PHIL Gardner playing music at the Classic this year -
- you know, plus Godzilla, raw bar, specialty vodka drinks, breakfast, lunch, dinner, the inflatable Chicken (from Chikfila) – of course the floating golf green – the air target, cigars, the Greene Turtle, and assorted circus animals.
Congratulations for Heather (for the Summit School) and Reggie Broddie (for the Boys & GIrls Clubs of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County) for hosting great tournaments at South River.

Greetings fellow faithful Friday Morning Irregulars!
For those of you who are new: The Friday Morning Irregulars is a very loose band of early morning golfers – very early.. We meet at one of the Atlantic Golf courses and play nine holes in a spectacular format - can you say BINGO – BANGO – BONGO? – and we are done early enough to get you to work by 10:30 or thereabouts. The cost is $15 – and the only trick there is that I no longer make change! Finally, this is NEVER cancelled due to rain. Even if you don’t show up, I will be there. I think one time Chris Muhly and I both drove to Potomac Ridge in a monsoon for … coffee. But I will be there – even if you are not.
..although most of the regular irregulars have figured this out and are bringing exact change….
THIS WEEK: we are meeting at South River. Please try to be there by no later than 7:15 as we will go out pretty quick after that. Bring business cards and a good joke if you have one! I dare you to stump me on golf jokes!

FINALLY….. Two weeks left until the Classic! Yeah! I hope that any of you that are interested will call me and let me know – there is still space left! The economy has hit everything and we are no exception. While we do have 200 golfers there will be space if you are interested – and we will sell singles and twosomes this year.

Greetings Faithful Irregulars!
Lots going on – but no golf this Friday! Why you ask? Cause I will have the Airtarget and Godzilla at the Maryland Seafood Festival! So come on over and have some crab soup and visit my booth – and Isabel and I (more commonly known as “Girl on Mars!” will be performing on the acoustic stage at about 1:30 on Saturday for… oh,.. maybe 10 of 15 minutes! really!
VOLUNTEERS: I will be manning this booth mostly myself, and will probably just close it when Isabel and I have our set, but if any of you would like FREE tickets to the festival with VIP PARKING … let me know! I have the tickets and could sure use a spare hand! Many thanks to all the people, like Janie, who always try to help out. Shelly Ford has already volunteered – but it is a long three days! Thanks for thinking of it!

I am back from upstate New York and beyond and ready to get back to serious matters! So, without further ado…
We will be at Queenstown this Friday, at 7:00 am!!! and I hope to see you there! I will be giving out FREE Dixon balls, bad jokes and the other normal fare!

YES it is time to talk about the Classic!!!!!

Think GODZILLA and the Air Target! yeah! you get the idea! yeesh… I think I need to get me some volunteers! yow! … anyway, Isabel and I will be doing a short “Girl On Mars” set on Saturday at 1 or 1:30 and I really hope we have an audience! hint… hint! Our most exciting project this year at the Classic was the Rain Barrel Project! The Kent Island Federation of Arts decorated our show pieces! WOW!
We have several left if you are interested! $65 – all goes to charity and you get a one of a kind piece of art! Let me know – they are going fast!

FLOATING GOLF GREEN UPDATE!
Here are a few pictures from the construction project… more pictures coming of the finished project!
First you need some help (thanks Chris, thanks Brendan!) and an inflatable trampoline...
inflate the trampoline...put some padding on it, to make the green have some shape...
recycle something (an old barrel top) so that your cup and flag will stand up...
lay the green on top of the padding..starting to look like nothing at all...
first to tell me who this is helping me wins some sort of prize...
with grass skirt and banner around the back! it really did float! all day!
